In our last blog, we discussed three important points on limousine etiquette. In this blog, we will finish up with a few more.
-
Don’t smoke
-
Unless you have a limousine where smoking is allowed, do not smoke. Most limousine companies prohibit smoking in order to keep their vehicles fresh.
-
-
Handle the tip/gratuity right
-
It is likely that your company will include a gratuity in your rental’s final price. If this is the case, it’s okay to give the driver a cash tip for exceptional service. However, if gratuity is not included, 20% of the bill is appropriate, and more if the service was exceptional.
-
-
Enter and exit properly
-
When you get into the limo, sit down in the seat, swing your legs in and then slide over. Stepping in head-first is the worst way to get in, because it will make your backside stick up in the air.
-
-
Don’t ask your driver to break the speed limit
-
Allow the chauffeur to open the door for you when exiting and entering.
-
You may be tempted to get it yourself or simply fall into habit, but remember, you’re paying the chauffeur to give you the best service. Let him or her do so.
