Eden Gardens State Park

Eden State park is 163 acres of wooded with giant moss-draped live oak trees. The property is primarily focused on the historic Wesley homestead. The 1897 2-story plantation style mansion was renovated and open to visitors and offers tours Thursday thru Monday and there is just a nominal fee to enter. If you are a fan of camellias and azaleas bloom between October through May and peak bloom in March. A perfect venue of photographs or family events such as wedding. You can go kayaking in the Tucker Bayou which connects to the Choctawhatchee Bay with it’s calm waters and abundant wildlife. If you feel more like a nature walk there is a nature walk with a detailed map through the property’s ornamental gardens and glorious southern trees dripping with Spanish Moss.
